Supplies are an essential part in the gamemode of the Mining Dead. They can be found everywhere in various different types of bags, ranging from small bags in houses to military and police gear in their own respective bags. It is also possible to obtain supplies by buying them through in-game NPC's in safezones, a topic which will be touched upon later. These bags contain various things, from materials for bases and their upkeep, to melee weapons, as well as guns, which is their main content. The bags also may contain ammunition for weapons, which is extremely useful. Supplies can be sold to NPC's in safezones or kept for personal use, but no matter what used for, are always beneficial for the player finding them in some way.
Weapons are a major part in The Mining Dead, and are essential not only in the PVP gamemodes. There are multiple different types of weapons, ranging from pistols, to SMGs to Snipers, all of which can be useful to players who know how to use them properly.
These weapons are divided into four tiers, one being the lowest and four the highest. As they progress in tier upwards, weapons gain better stats, as they are better than the previous tier, (ex. The Desert Eagle is a Tier 4 weapon, and is therefore better than the M9, a Tier 1). There are also legendary weapons which exist, usually in the form of golden plated weapons, which are rare, give status effects such as blindness or wither in PVP, and have no recoil. Some of them are: The golden P90, the golden Ak47, the golden barret .50 call...
There's also unique weapons like the Pink precision rifle which can only be found in event crates or supply drops.
You can find all information about weapons and their values below.
Armor is an equally essential component of The Mining Dead. Armor allows for greatened defense against the hostile zombies, as well as bandits and wolves.
It is seperated into four different tiers as well similarly as weapons; Leather, Military, Riot and Commonwealth.
Wearing full Riot and upwards types makes you immune to being bitten and prevents you from receiving infections.
The final, legendary tier of armor comes in the form of the rare Juggernaut Armor, which is the top armor in the game. It can be found from crates, usually legendary and mythical ones, although it can be found in the other types of crates as well. Juggernaut armor pieces will also appear in high tier loot areas during loot boosters.
Another thing to be of note is that certain legendary armor, such as Santa and Gamer Girl armor, are even rarer than Juggernaut, but grant increased stats and look way more unique!
They can be found in event crates or supply drops.
Values and information about each armor can be found below.
Vehicles are an essetional part of The Mining Dead as they assist players on their travels, help players from from enemies or walkers and overall make exploring the map easier.
The two main vehicles at the moment are cars and motorcycles. Both can be custimized with different camos varients using /camo.
Cars and motorcycles can be found throughout the map in nearly all tier zones.
Vehicles are currently only part of the Mining Dead Java Edition.
Walkers are the most common mob you will encounter throughout the map. The spawn in nearly every zone.
Bandits are oftentimes leathal encounters for new or ungeared players. They spawn in most tier 1 to 2 zones.
They wield an assortment of various guns. Keep in mind that they can not open doors!
Wolves spawn next to exclusively within the shirewilt and alexandria locations. They are a group of survivors with melee weapons, which will sprint at the player to kill them. They lack any range weapons, so always try to reach places they can not get to!
Whisperers are hostile mobs that disguise themselves as walkers. When you get close enough to one they will attack you. Upon death they have a chance of dropping a Whisperer Mask which a player can wear to avoid being attacked by walkers.
Burning walkers spawn primarily within Atlanta. They are faster and a bit more dangerous than normal walkers, not only because they can set you alight.
Safezones are sizeable areas located around the map that provide PvP and mob protection. Player vaults, NPCs, crates, and slot machines can all be located at safezones. There are a total of six safezones, four of which (Berxley, Mallowbridge, Travelier, and Maxwell) can be warped to from spawn, the tutorial, and bases. The other two (Viscocil and Crawford) can only be warped to when a player is in the vicinity of the safezone.
To enter a safezone when within the warpable vicinity (roughly 210 - 225 blocks), players must type the command "/safezone enter" (or "/sz e") and wait a total of seven seconds without moving or being combat tagged before warping. Mythical ranks, however, can teleport to warpable safezones from anywhere on the map.
NPC Shops are located at different locations within each safezone. Right clicking an NPC will prompt the shop menu to open. While each NPC has a different shop category, only one NPC is needed to access the entirety of the shop (as players are able to cycle through the shop pages once they have it open). To cycle through the shop pages, players should click on the arrows located towards the bottom of the shop menu.
Players are also able to sell items to NPC Shops. A good majority of items are able to be sold to NPCs, and the ones that aren't can be listed on the auction house. To sell an item to an NPC shop, open the shop menu and click the money symbol located towards the bottom of the shop menu. After clicking the symbol, a sell menu will open and allow players to put the items they wish to sell inside of it. If players aren't able to shift right-click an item into the sell menu, they must manually drag and drop it. Once everything is in the sell menu, players can confirm and complete their transaction.
